Hayduk obtains first level of certification in the MINAM Clean Production Agreement

A Clean Production Agreement (CPA) is an agreement that seeks to apply specific actions so that the operation of various companies achieves clean production.

In total, there are three levels that a company can reach within the framework of the Clean Production Agreement (CPA).

Lima, January 2024. The Ministry of the Environment (MINAM) granted Pesquera Hayduk certification for reaching the first level within the framework of the Clean Production Agreement (CPA), a milestone that recognizes the company’s efforts on its path to sustainability.

An APL is an agreement entered into by the private sector and public organizations. The goal is to apply specific actions so that the operation of various companies achieves clean production, for the benefit of the environment.

“We are proud to have obtained the first of the three certificates granted by MINAM on Clean Production Agreements. It is a recognition of the company’s environmental management and the responsibility we have with the areas of influence where we operate,” said Pamela Arellano. , Head of Environmental Management at Hayduk.

In total there are three levels that a company can reach within the framework of the APL. In 2024, Hayduk will work towards obtaining the second certificate; while the plan is to achieve the third level in 2025.

“The Clean Production Agreements are a very valuable tool to complete our path towards a circular economy. Through alliances and this effort with MINAM we can improve the environmental and production conditions of the private sector in Peru,” concluded Arellano.
