Our vessels responsibly fish anchovy under strict quality, size, and temperature controls.
Anchovy is transported to the plant by a pumping system. At the plant, the raw material is weighed, evaluated, and stored in different ponds according to its quality.
The raw material is subjected to high temperatures to sterilize it and more easily separate the fat and moisture from the solids.
The cooked part is compressed to remove fat and moisture. At this point, the liquids are separated from the solids.
Through the liquids, the oil is obtained, while the suspended solids and water are processed to obtain soluble proteins that are incorporated into the meal production.
The solid part undergoes a drying process at low temperatures and cooling with ambient air to preserve the quality of the product.
The solid part is pulverized to obtain fishmeal with a uniform particle size that favors rapid mixing.
Fishmeal is graded according to freshness, chemical analysis (protein, fat, moisture, etc.) and under our customers' technical specifications.
Antioxidant is added to meal to prevent oxidation of its fats and to protect it from self-combustion.
The meal is placed in 50 kg cases. For every 1000 units a sample is taken to know the properties of the batch.
The finished product is shipped, by containers, to our customers worldwide.
