High Standards in Low Temperatures
High Standards in Low Temperatures
At Hayduk, we produce frozen seafood products that meet the highest quality standards, rigorously preserving the cold chain at each stage of production. Our broad offering includes horse mackerel and mackerel, available in a variety of presentations. We promote the growth of local and international markets for our diverse marine species through sustainable practices and innovative approaches.
Our vessels fish under strict quality, size and temperature controls.
The fish is transported to the plant by a pumping system at a maximum temperature of 4 °C, maintaining the cold chain.
The catch is separated by weight ranges using industrial sorting equipment. This is manually validated to eliminate discards and separate by species ("horse mackerel" and "mackerel").
The fish is weighed with a high precision system and packed in cardboard boxes containing polyethylene sheets on the bottom and top, whose characteristics will maintain the safety, quality, and thermal conditions of the fish.
The packaged product is provided with a lid, a strap and a label detailing the traceability of the product and the plant code, which identifies us internationally.
The packaged products enter forced-air tunnels to raise their temperature to -18°C and then are transferred to cold storage chambers, where they are kept until they are taken to final dispatch.
Finished product is shipped in units with a refrigeration system, according to the specifications of our customers worldwide.
