Objective of the Program: Contribute to the development and well-being of children from 0 to 36 months, through awareness, prevention, and treatment of anemia, according to the corresponding level of care.
Target Audience: Our employees’ children aged 0-36 months.
Results: By mid-2023, 100% awareness and call for Hayduk employees was completed.
The percentage of participation in the program reached 75%.
In the first screening, 87% of the children who participated in the program had hemoglobin concentration values within the range = no anemia. 13% of the children who participated in the program had hemoglobin values out of range in the first screening = Yes, they are anemic. Assistance and medication were provided to 100% of the children who were referred with anemia. After 6 months, a second screening was performed and a recovery rate of 77% of the children who initially tested positive for anemia was achieved.* After the second screening, 96.97% of the total number of program participants were anemia-free.
*Children who did not overcome anemia continue with treatment covered 100% by Hayduk.
